May I have a business hammock, please?

This is where I spend most of my waking hours, Monday through Friday.  It is a good job, and I love my work mates, and you can’t tell by this comic, but they actually got me a stability ball chair; however, some days one just wants a lie-down.  I would adore a nap room.  We wouldn’t have to have business hammocks…just some yoga mats and your favorite blankie.  (Mine has kitty cats on it.)

WHY didn’t I know a good thing when I had it?  In kindergarten it was like pulling teeth for me to lay quietly for fifteen minutes.

Hope I don't get censored.

This is the look with a thousand questions.  I have been working overtime, so this was the only sketch I could get to you, gentle readers, at the stroke of 11:59PM.  He’s one of my favorite subjects to draw.  Black Prismacolor, Working Class Studio sketchbook.

haha.  I make myself giggle.  This is straight outta’ the new sketchbook (thanks, Mom!).  I have been busting my behind lately, and have only been able to quickly sketch once in  a while.  I try to do something everyday, but you know how it goes…”Life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans.”  (John Lennon said that, I believe.)  Working a full time job, doing side (painting) work, and planning a wedding…thank you all for sticking with me!

I have always liked mythology, not only oof the Greek and Roman variety.  A Selkie is a creature  who can become human by shedding its seal, a skin. This is a very abridged version, and like all things, can be researched extensively on Wikipedia.  Goodnight!

Well, those penguins have wine...ask them for a snack.

This week back at my day job has been insane, so I grabbed my sketchbook while waiting for a friend at the hair salon.  Even though I would never call myself fashionable, I have always loved fashion illustration.  At first I was going to Photoshop out the penguins, but I decided to leave them, in case the model needed a beverage…and so she wouldn’t look so lonely on the page.  Also, I think they look rather dashing in their eternal tuxedos.  Lends a bit of formality to any piece…

Yes, I am floating there, and was shoeless that night. It's warm here.
