This week’s Illustration Friday topic is “Pointy”. This is the idea that made me giggle, so this is what I made. (It is probably ridiculous that this is the way I make many idea decisions.) I went analog here, using watercolors and colored pencils on watercolor paper.

Did anyone catch the lunar eclipse on Tuesday morning? It was going on from 3:07am to 4:55am in my part of the world, so needless to say, I slept right through it! This year we should be getting 4 of them, total.
I filled in my last little sketchbook that Mr. Carney got me for Christmas, and had the urge to make a new one from recycled office materials. Back in the day, after taking a bookmaking class, all of my sketchbooks were hand made. As I hadn’t done this in a while, I utilized the great and powerful YouTube for a tutorial. How to Make a Book: Saddle Stitch with Thread I am looking forward to checking out this person’s series for future projects.
