Happy Friday, everyone. The illustration above is a case of finding a half-drawn sketch in a sketchbook. I liked the start, so saw it to finish. This one I actually remember starting at a coffee house…there was an engaged reader enjoying a coffee and a book. Or maybe he was studying. He was human, I remember that; however, I do so love anthropomorphization. BIG WORD for your Friday. 😀

I hope you find time for reading or whatever relaxing pursuit you desire this weekend!

I’m not sure about this one…is there too much wild color going on? Just experimenting with layers of marks: some ink, some pens, some pencil. Then, as I do, coloring in Photoshop. I felt like I was getting into a “palette rut” for awhile, and have tried to get out of my comfort zone lately by using much brighter colors than I used to. The process is fun; I hope I never stop playing!

Disco bunny process

HaHa, Le Grand Portefeuille

This is a piece originally intended for SCBWI’s monthly #drawthis prompt, but I got a little behind because I had other work that required my attention. Anyway, I liked the idea, and the drawing made me smile, so I wanted to finish it. This was hand drawn and digitally colored with Illustrator this time.  (So if anyone needs this on the side of a bus, it can be scaled that large, without pixelating the image. I’m just saying.) There are many ways that I enjoy working, both by hand and digitally.

More bunnies, different style!

There are kid’s clothes…

Yes, maternity tees (although I wish the design could be put on the belly.)

Of course the onesies!

And even something for the pup in your life. (We wouldn’t want to leave out Fido.)

Now there is really something for everyone in the family. (Yet this is only the tip of the ‘print on demand’ iceberg). I really laughed when I saw the dog t-shirt, and felt it must be shared. Please feel free to share this post!
